Roger’s Play, Pomp and Circumstances, was produced by Pipeline productions in August, 2010. Graduation day is a week away when the proud Black parents of the soon-to-be graduate pay their son a surprise visit. But who in this family will get the biggest surprise? And who will find this week before commencement truly a beginning? This is a play about hidden conflicts within a family and the unforeseen results of bringing secrets to light. The was performed in the FATH Auditorium of the Cincinnati Art Museum.

Angela will direct "The Lunacy of Love (as told in 2 locations and 5 short comedies)" -- a production of five one-act comedies, two of which she authored, for Village Players of Fort Thomas. Virginia Budge is a fictional character created by Bridget in her musical comedy Teacher Left Behind. Virginai is a retired teacher who believes state tests and grade point averages do not show the full talents and potential of any individual. Virginia Budge feels, as many educators feel, that students are "more than a test score." Bridget, as well as her sister Bekka Eaton are both committee members of the Virginia Budge Award for the Creative and Performing Arts. Congratulations to Roger Collins
Roger’s one act play, The Long Way Home, was part of 2010 Cincinnati Fringe Festival. The play had its debut reading with CPI New Voices in March 2009. Starred in the production were: Darryl Hilton, Reggie Willis and Khrys Styles; Directed by Kevin Crowley. All Performances were at Media Bridges, in Cincinnati, OH. A homeless veteran of the Iraq war journeys back to the home he lost, carrying sorrows and resentments - and a loaded Colt .380. The people he meets along the way stir memories and fantasies, and prepare him, unknowingly, for his climactic confrontation with the occupants of his former home.

Rhonda's play The Global Lovers was part of the 2010 Cincinnati Fringe Festival. CPI sponsored the staged reading of her play at the Aronoff in February 2009. Directed by e.E. Charlton-Trujillo.
All Performances were at A Lucky Step, in Cincinnati, OH. A privileged woman living in Kentucky. A sex slave known as Girl on the other side of the world. What could possibly bring them together by the end of The Global Lovers? Inspired in part by the story of Aisha Parveen, a former sex slave in Pakistan, this poetic drama explores sex slavery and its relationship to American consumer culture.

Alan received a City of Cincinnati Individual Artist Grant to write and produce Only When I Bleed. He chronicles the experiences of members of a support group as they struggle to come to terms with their desire to inflict self-harm by cutting themselves. The play was staged at the Madisonville Arts Center (MAC) in February 2009.

Arnie’s Blue Chip Players ( http://www.bluechipplayers.net ) produced the Cincinnati area premiere of Address Unknown, a riveting holocaust drama set in Munich and San Francisco, from the best-selling novel by the late Katherine Kressman Taylor at the Monmouth Theatre, Newport, KY (June 2008). Arnie Shayne co-starred. At the same time Arnie also produced Phil Pardise's drama Footprints of the Polar Bear.

Arnie won the Grand Prize at 2008 Cincinnati Directors’ Competition for directing Footprints of the Polar Bear (written by Phil Paradise, past CPI President). Blue Chip Players produced the play. The Cincinnati Directors Competition was presented by New Edgecliff Theatre.
Soon after, Arnie acted in a staged reading of a new play Flutterbies by Frank Christopher, at the Producers Club in the Big Apple. Arnie played a 110-year-old grandfather with a sharp mind, and a foul mouth.
